"Kid Cribs"
ducduc
Forget stork and bunny nursery room decor. Collaborative design team ducduc brings art-house sensibilities down to miniature size. Built around the philosophy that parents shouldn't have to compromise aesthetics when it comes to children's furnishings, the ducduc line is both bright and stylish and custom-designed for kids, but cut with a modular sensibility their grown-ups can appreciate. Startling chromatics in splashes of orange, pink, and walnut against white lacquer are the main theme of dressers, rockers, and beds. The bright white PJ-crib ($1245) includes a customizable, upholstered panel on one end; buyers can pick snappy pastel prints from the site, mail in their own fabric, or cover the crib themselves. The tuxedo-colored Morgan dresser ($2395) doubles as a changing table, and is available in sturdy, solid walnut or with white drawers flanking the sides.
